Today is my daughter's birthday. She wanted to go to the Spa as one of her gifts. She and I went to the Spa for our first time had massages, dipped in the hot tub, we had thought we were supposed to get complimentary champagne, but we did not. After our massage we went site seeing! The view of Colorado Springs!
We had lunch at Colorado Brewing Company, they had awesome steaks, and salads! Definitely recommend eating there!
Historical mining towns are all over Colorado, this is Old Colorado City, CO
Love the humor in this town! I'd say this is what happens when you make marijuana legal. Hee hee!
This is our 2nd attempt at driving up Pikes Peak. By the time we made it to the toll gate it looked as if storm clouds moved in and we were not about to be caught in hail. Our third and last attempt to drive to the top, and it was closed.
We drove back to the resort to have some drinks and relax before our drive home the following day.
