We headed home just before the sun went down on Route 66 going west. We stopped off at the hot destination soda stop spot POP's and called it a fun filled day cruising in the 2009 Corvette! 

Kicks On Route 66

We had a blast today cruising around Oklahoma seeing what this beautiful car can do and testing the comfort of the ride. I must say she rides nice! She is so speedy really has the get up and go!

When you head East on Route 66 you will find a lot of historical little places along the way. We found this adorable Motorcycle Museum for taking photographs of the hubby's 50th birthday gift. 

She really is a beautiful car isn't she?

Road Trip North down I-35

Passing through the town of Purcell Oklahoma we headed toward downtown Oklahoma City.

One of my favorite buildings of the city is the state capital building and the Indian stature atop of it. It is located on I-235 heading north toward Edmond, Oklahoma.

Noble, Oklahoma Road Trip

My husband upgraded his sports car this week and our first road trip was a lunch in a little town known as Noble, Oklahoma. A friend suggested Kendall's for their tasty Chicken Fry! 

Located in an old historic building in downtown Noble with a lot of character and charm for your dining eyes. Once you receive your Chicken Fry you will not be disappointed! Be sure to order your gravy on the side because you will be taking home left overs and no one likes a soggy chicken fry! ;)
