Great read! Love the characters Shiloh, Cyrus, and Arden. Nice twist toward the end. My heart broke for Arden over Shiloh early on, I enjoyed how he helped Arden feel secure and protected. Cyrus had me on the edge of my seat, he was hard to read, is he toying with Arden? I was team Shiloh, then Cyrus then my head was spinning!

 This one pulls at your heart strings so much sadness. Dovie lost her fiance to suicide and finds out he kept a secret from her. She visits his grace with so many questions and notices another visitor Dora who had sent her daughter away to live at a home for unwed expecting mothers was leaving a letter stop if one of the headstones. Perked up Dovie’s interest and story continues. Very touching and what a chain of events.

Full House

 

Great story. Love, jealousy and drama my favorite kind! Billie so funny trying to get riding lessons so that her kids would be proud of her when they returned from their visit with their father. The bug guy creeped me out from the start, he was an odd one. Dee and her wrestlers was a hoot! Nick sounded like a great catch, loved the speedy pace at which they finally realized they were in love.

Ash & Ink

 

Absolutely loved the plot of this story, so unique from other fantasy books I have read. This would be just as good without the spicy scenes, the back story of Ash, and the love Casie finds with Flint, so sweet. We all need a hot Flint in our lives. Lord knows we have all met a few Brett’s we could do without.

Rock paper Scissors

 

Creepy good! Amelia organizing the wonderful getaway for her and husband to rekindle or give up on them. Great Twist! The intro to Robin had me on the edge. Great writing!

I have been waiting to read this one for a while. Great one, full of adventure! Ends on a cliffhanger! I did feel the ending was a bit rushed but I can’t wait to find out what lies ahead between Xaden & Violet.

Book 2 drew me in more, I feel like it’s picking up now and getting interesting.

The Weekend Break

 What an ending! Quite the turn of events! I liked the story line, I love a good girls trip read. Always some kind of mama drama and this book didn’t disappoint!

This was another great read, with mystery, romance and great vibes. Heading for divorce and reunited, will their love prevail or will another hot guy in her life sweep her off her feet? 

She thinks her husbands job  is dangerous being a firemen, and yet she is the one getting death threats from her crazy clients. Can Jay convince her he is what she needs, and to relax they can work through it, we will see, there are two more books in this series. 

The Billionaires Secret Love

 

Spicy quick read. Great story lines she creates in this book that I have not come across before. Emily is pretty reserved with a tragic past, whereas Tate comes across as a playboy. Once he meets Emily it’s lust at first sight.

Love is Blinding

 

This one is based off real events. It was an interesting read. It is a vicious cycle this thing we think is love at times and  we as females being stuck in the cog wheel falling for the same excuses over and over and yet always feeling as if you are not good enough and that you can change their thoughts of you in hopes their desire they once had will return if only you tried harder, when all along it was never you.

Interesting. Slow beginning, then I felt it ended and I was left wondering what the outcome would be. Until book 2…

Quick easy read. Sweet meet cute romance. I love a good mistletoe induced love story.

That was such a quick read. Just when the sweet budding “Situationship” was beginning the story was at its ending. 

Millionaire Cop and Mom-to-Be

 

Another quick easy read.  Katie & Neil finding their soul mate unexpectedly was a crazy story but great turnout!

Island Rogue

 

Such a fun read! The relationship building was fantastic. I was laughing out loud, may have had a tear in my eye a time or two. Loved this one. Great story line. Ellie & Cutter;s banter hooked me in. Cutter was definitely dedicated. 

Tall, Dark, and Bad

 

Loved this one! The more I read from this author the more I love her writing. Summer & Cooper are fantastic characters.i loved how they come to meet one another, I laughed a few times.

Steeped in the Beyond

 

Another fun mystery to be solved! Sweet quick fun read!

Tears of joy for the ending. Loved the banter between Sam and Annie from the start. Great story, well written easy to follow, a feel good sweet romance!

Husband Wanted

 I love the writing of Charlotte Hughes. Her stories are easy to follow and have me laughing and crying the best kind to read. Frankie is a waitress at a diner in town and one of her regular customers is Walter. Walter is Clays father. Clay went to high school with Frannie. Clay knew Frannie had become pregnant in high school and given her child up. Mandy the child that was given up, now 13 had reached out to Frannie and was coming to meet her. Frannie had lied and said she had this wonderful life, was married and such. Walter offered his home and his son to pretend to be the husband. One thing lead to another and Clay and Frannie found love, and Frannie now has a relationship with her child.

A Steep Price to Pay

Love these mystery books. So easy to read and follow. I love these cute stories. Ellie was a former investigative reporter and the coffee shop she is running for her Aunt Beatrice. Her family has a special trait where they can see and speak to spirits and ghosts. The coffee shop has a spirit named Baxter and a strange acting cat named Hobbes. Ellie seems to get volunteered to solve some of the small town silly mysteries like in this book she is trying to solve who is taking everyone’s garden gnomes, but she is more interested in solving who killed Mary the skeleton they found in the old Opry house. When Mary appears to Ellie asking for help, Ellie took the assignment against the better judgement of the towns detective. He tries to keep her in her lane and not meddling in investigations but she is hard headed.

Miss Goody Two Shoes

 

This book was my second book read that was written by this author. I am loving the story lines she creates. I can easily imagine the scenes. In this book you have Kane who was recently released from prison, and Mel his pen pal who lives in a very small town. Then Kane shows up in her hometown and it starts from there. 

Just Married Again

 

Loved this story between Maddy & Michael who are in the process of getting divorced but end up at the same mountain cabin to leave their troubles behind and relax. If it weren’t for being snowed in and Michael getting injured someone might’ve risked their life returning home in a blizzard.

The Keeper of the Irish Secret

 

Great story line. Loved it! Secrets, with romance budding all around. Lily meets Dominic and immediately feels butterflies. Grandma is fighting to save the estate for her granddaughters

Winter Reading Bingo

 

As soon as I stumbled onto this fun reading challenge I had to join! I mean seriously you only have to read five books to get this super cute mug, while supplies last of course! ;) I am already at eight books so I was over due to pick up my mug. It was so easy walked in told them I was in the challenge they looked up my library card number and handed me a mug. If I complete 25 books by the end of February then I go into a drawing for more fun prizes! I am in!

Say you’ll remember me

 

Such a sweet story between Xavier and Samantha. They tried to make their relationship work long distance since Samantha’s mother suffered with dementia. The distance tested their love for one another. Loved this story. Great writing and easy to read.

 Finished another book this month for the 2026 Key Word Reading Challenge at Goodreads. Keyword used for this book is Ground. Chelsea inherited Higher Grounds Cafe from her Mother. It was a coffee shop that was owned by her family for generations. Chelsea married her high school sweetheart and football star. Along with fame came baggage and lead to Chelsea wanting to divorce her husband Samuel. This is a story about overcoming life’s obstacles, and having faith in God. 

The Wrong Door

 Hello again friends & followers!

Tonight I finished this quick romance read. I joined a fun challenge on Goodreads and for my second book in this challenge I chose the word Door as my inspiration word. This is such a cute little story about Ethan & Zoe who live three doors down from one another. Ethan is mending from hurt and doesn’t seem to want to get close too fast. Zoe is happy go lucky and a bit of “chaos”. They meet by accident and form a bond of unbreakable trust between them. I enjoyed this sweet story.
