4th Stop- Custer, South Dakota!

We had separated from our convoy on the way to Bridgeport, NE with another couple. While there we met up with fellow Heartland Owners from the Texas Chapter and had a wonderful dinner with everyone before heading to South Dakota the following day. On our way to South Dakota we went through Wind Cave National park and watched the Buffalo roam across the roads while us and many other travelers took pictures. We went through this adorable little town called Hot Springs. This is a must see place on my next drive through this state. We headed into Custer, South Dakota and onward to Custer's Gulch Campground.

Custer's Gulch is a very nice clean place to camp for tenters on up to the big rigs! We were only minutes from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and many other wonderful places to go site seeing. We spent two days here and one entire day we spent exploring the area with our fellow Oklahoma Chapter Heartland RV'ers, we had such a blast and feel truly blessed to have finally been able to see such beautiful country side and national monuments.
