Oklahoma State Fair
The Oklahoma State Fair seems huge to me! I haven't taken my kids since my oldest was 8 years old and he's 22 now. What made us decide to go this time? I wanted to check out the craft building and admission was only $3! I do a lot of crafts and crochet and I have seen others winning ribbons for their work and it sounded fun to see what they do. It was a hot day in the 90's. We walked around till we just about could not walk anymore. I never found the building.
Afterwards I found out they have In-Fair-mation booths with maps. Oh well leave it to me to miss out. :) But if you are ever around Oklahoma City during the Oklahoma State Fair you should have fun and check it out and don't miss out on the maps!

Bye-Bye Key Largo
Due to a horrible financial year the one thing I never thought I would have to lose has went bye-bye. The RV camping adventures had come to a halt last April. While we were at White River State Park in Arkansas my eldest Pomeranian started having fainting spells, so we ended our trip early only we came home to our business being bankrupt by our manager and so much debt that we still to this day have not recovered. our manager in the meantime had a brand new $300,000 home built that he traded out most of all his building costs at our expense during our many numerous RV adventures. We had trusted him so much that we never imagined he would do something like this to us. We tried to hold on to my one most prized possession as long as we could even if financially it may have been a bad decision. In December we had to take a loan out on what we worked so hard to pay cash for something to own it free and clear, needless to say we were unable to bounce back.
Last Tuesday she was pulled away We had many great times traveling and making made many great friends along the way. She will be greatly missed.
