Bull Shoals White River State Park Arkansas - Spring Break Day 1

  
These are the tiniest sites ever! I don't know how we lucked out in getting the very campsite right next the one we had the 1st trip here in 2008. I thought the first site was rough but site 78 it's very tight. We are looking forward to the hubby catching lots of trout and having a great spring break camp out!

When the river was low enough the Fly fishermen and women would get back in the river and resume to tickling their trouts! 

Central State Park Campground - Lake Arcadia, OK

We had a few days to get the camper prepped for our first trip of the year! So we went to our local campground. We let the girls of the Pom Squad try and get use to their caged surroundings. No more leash burns on my legs! Woo - Hoo! 

 We really love how spacious the full hook up sites are at this campground.

Leepin' Humpday Dance- Spring is near!

It is Leapin' Hump Day! That's right it is a leap year and today is hump day. In just a few weeks we will fill our tanks and be among these fine campers. It has only been 4 months since we were last camping out, but it has felt like a long past few months. We are so ready to get out into the great outdoors! We hope to tickle some trout that is for sure. Maybe stop in and see our buddy Jerry. Are you making plans for your first trip of the year? Please let me know where are you heading this Spring?

Towing is a Breeze!

We have finally bit the bullet and purchased our tow vehicle for our North Country travel trailer an F350 Turbo Diesel Dually FX4 Lariat crew cab. Yes, we were those people everyone warns don't purchase a camper if you don't have proper tow vehicle, but we really didn't think our vehicle an H2 Hummer would have a problem but the first trip out we felt we should probably most definitely upgrade to a more sufficient ride. The Ford is twice the weight of the H2, even though the H2 is a rather large machine. The tow capacity of the F350 is 15,500 on the bumper and 19,200 on the 5th wheel.

 We are so thrilled and have reserved another week and a half of camping reservations for the year! So far that is only 3 1/2 weeks reserved for the year so far and more weeks to reserve for our to and from routes! Yippee!

Making Summer Reservations!

So exciting I have been making my summer reservations and I am looking forward to many trips this year from Oklahoma to Maryland and back, then on to Wisconsin and Colorado! I am doing the jiggy dance for my trips this year!
